Written by Posting this from work. I don’t particularily want to be here at the moment. Of course, that is true for any particular moment. But right now I would like to be home playing the Sims. My interest in playing the game comes and goes. It usually corresponds with the release of new expansion packs. And that’s exactly what happened this time. Last week, the Sims 2: Open for Business expansion pack was released. It’s quite fun, and I’ve been trying to cobble together time to actually play it. I think the longest continuous playtime with it for me so far has been about an hour. That’s including the 10 min. it takes me to get the game loaded and running. (It’s a rather large chunk of code.) It’s seems like when I don’t have much to do, I have all the time in the world to do it. But when I find something I want to spend some time doing, all my time gets sucked away.
