So, the other day it snowed pretty good. As usual, the snow made the roads pretty slick. We returned to our home, and as I was about to pull into the driveway, I knew it would be a challenge. Our driveway is sloped, so I had to get enough speed to make it up the driveway, and also maintain control so I don’t hit the other vehicle, or the side of the garage. First try, and I almost make it in. But I didn’t quite make it. I put on the brake, but we begin sliding on back down the driveway. And I have no control, but I manage to back it out. And turn the car around for attempt #2. Not enough oomph, and we begin sliding down again, only this time, the car turns, and we end up sliding down sideways! We end up in the sidewalk, perpendicular to the driveway! At this point, the kids are laughing and have a great time. I get myself out of the driveway again, and go for #3. This time, I power my way up the driveway and into the garage. I decided it was time to shovel the driveway. But not before taking a picture of our tracks left in the snow!
