Written by The adventure in the basement continues. The daunting task of hanging the sheetrock has begun. I can certainly tell you that I’ve been stressing about this part for a while now. There were issues on where they would deliver the drywall…on the curb, in the driveway, in the garage, partly in the garage. Plus, the weather was supposed to be wet and rainy. And would we have enough people to move it so that it doesn’t get wet? Well, luck was on my side. First, the storm went a different direction, so the weather was dry. Second, the awesome delivery guy was able to put the sheetrock right into the garage.
We had about 5 guys and a sheetrock lifter, and the work went smoothly (well, as smoothly as possible for 5 guys who just aren’t drywall experts. We got quite a bit done, and we are inching closer and closer to the finishing of this project!
